Temporary Projects Producer

Part time, temporary (until 31st August 2018 – 3 days/ 21 hours p/w)
Salary Scale: £24,362 – £29,930 per annum, pro rata

We are: looking for an experienced Producer with excellent marketing and communication skills to join the Scottish Drama Training Network (SDTN) in a temporary role during summer 2018.

The post is offered as a fixed term contract from May until end August 2018 and offers a unique opportunity for someone who is interested in producing the work of the Network Ensemble at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2018.

Based at RCS, as part of the small team, the post-holder will work closely with the Director of the SDTN, and the Technical Theatre Skills Officer, ensuring the efficient delivery of a range of training projects.

The job tasks include producing the Fringe production, Propeller, ensuring the project budget is monitored and controlled, liaison and communication with participants, production manager and project partners; marketing, (including print production, e-communications and creating a dynamic social media presence) and media liaison.

Other tasks include delivering a range of training and information events for staff and students of the Scottish Drama Training Network.

You will have: a passion for working within a highly creative educational environment, connecting regularly with the industry.

Please note that there is a requirement for some external working. The post is for 21 hours per week for the fixed period, with some flexibility around delivery, in agreement with the Director.
