We Invite you to join us at our 6th Annual Technical Theatre Symposium where we bring together our Scottish Further and Higher Education Network Institutions and Scottish theatre industry professionals to discuss a range of technical theatre and design topics, including skills training and career pathways. This year we are working in partnership with the Traverse Theatre in Edinburgh.

The day will begin with five optional CPD workshops, each running twice, in two morning sessions (09:30-11:00 and 11:30-13:00). When booking, please ensure you select only one workshop in each time slot. The workshops are practical, so places are limited. These workshops are for Education Teaching Staff and Industry ONLY. Students can book for the afternoon session.

The afternoon session (13:45-17:00) will start with a Sector Update / Spotlight Presentations in Traverse 1 from Vanishing Point Theatre Company, Association of British Theatre Technicians, MKeco Design and Equity. This will be followed by drop-in Meet The Designer surgeries and industry trade stalls you can visit. The day will be rounded off with a networking reception.

Please Note: booking tickets for the morning CPD workshops will not automatically register you for the afternoon symposium. Please select to book this ticket. You are welcome to join us for the afternoon only.
