MA Classical and Contemporary Text (MACCT) is a one year post-graduate conservatoire training programme for actors and directors. The programme has a commitment to recognising that students from a variety of educational contexts can thrive in masters-level study, this includes students with BAs, MAs, PhDs and students with alternative qualifications and experience.

This event will give participants the chance to learn more about the unique MACCT programme, which includes numerous public performance opportunities in a variety of contexts and a four-week residency at Shakespeare’s Globe in London. You will get to learn about the programme, tour the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland facilities and take a masterclass with the Head of Classical and Contemporary Text. The schedule for the day will be as follows:

10am – Introduction to MACCT
11am-1pm – Find out admissions, finance and tour the RCS’ buildings
1pm-2pm – Lunch
2pm-4pm – Workshop with the Head of CCT
4pm-5pm – Q&A
