Are you an actor hoping for an insight in to Casting? Or are you a filmmaker, director or someone interested in learning how to cast projects for film and TV? SDTN are working again with Backstage and Casting director Hannah Williams to bring you two online Q&A events to help uncover the world of casting. Each of these hour long Zoom sessions will aim to de-mystify the casting process from both sides. Questions will be taken throughout.

Backstage are offering all students completely free use of their website to allow performers to find castings to apply to and film students to post their casting calls and find the right talent. Attendees will be given the links.

Backstage is a casting platform and actor publication, started in NYC in 1960. Since then, Backstage has grown to an international hub for all things casting with 1000s of projects being cast from the talent database each month and the best actor targeted editorial, with advice and industry news. Throughout lockdown they have been organising weekly online events and workshops to support people across the industry.
