Fringe success for final-year students

As part of the unique new course, the BA (Hons) in Acting for Stage and Screen – which is delivered jointly between the two Edinburgh universities of Queen Margaret and Napier – final year students are required to create their own individual theatre shows to be performed at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

Honours student Katie Milne writes:
“ I am currently completing my Honours year at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. I created a children’s show as my main project for this festival and it has recently received 5 stars from the Scotsman. I would just like to share this with you all at SDTN as an example of the great work that is going on in the Acting for Stage and Screen course.”

This is great news for all who have worked so hard to create and contribute to this new two-year programme for Edinburgh, and SDTN sends warmest congratulations to the programme leaders, tutors and all the students.
