Theatre Regeneration and New Campus Plans for Dundee College

As part of the plans to reform its estate, Dundee College has been funded by the Scottish Funding Council, to regenerate the Gardyne Theatre and create a new campus.

The new Gardyne Campus will be home, along with other departments, to the college’s Creative and Digital Industries. The theatre has a seating capacity of 404 and will be fully equipped to professional standards. The College’s theatre students will have the benefit of being able to perform in the new auditorium as well as utilising the excellent existing facilities provided at The Space on the Kingsway Campus.

The new Gardyne Theatre will be another flagship building for Dundee –  one of Scotland’s largest Colleges – and will officially open to students in August 2011.
