Transitions 20/40 at the RCS

Apply for dance, drama and music places...

We are now accepting applications for Transitions 20/40 students for dance, drama and music places.

Transitions 20/40 is a training programme for those living in SIMD 20 or 40 postcodes who want to develop their skills to enable them to apply to higher education in the performing arts.

Transitions 20/40 students will work with the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and receive personalised learning plans and support in their area of interest.

Applicants to the Transitions 20/40 programme must be passionate about their subject and be in the following age groups at the time the programme starts (August 2013):

– For Music: 12–18 years
– For Drama: 15 years and over
– For Ballet: 12–13 years

Apply now.     The application deadline is Friday 31 May at 5pm.

Auditions will be held between the 16–25 June in the following places:

– Inverness (drama & music)
– Dundee (music)
– Glasgow (dance, drama & music)
– West Lothian (drama & music)
