Creative Industries: Television
(HND)

This course is a springboard into work in television.

It is taught by industry professionals using broadcast-standard kit, and is constantly updated to reflect developments in technology and working practice. Students in 1st year focus on technical skills including camera, edit and sound recording and build a portfolio of practical projects. In second year they study advanced camera or edit, develop and produce factual and drama projects, and create a showreel showcasing their practical skills. They also get the opportunity for work experience in a media environment.

The TV team have excellent links with the industry, and are part of the Skillset Media Academy Network and Creative Loop.
