MA Classical and Contemporary Text (Acting) or (Directing)
(Post Graduate Degree)

This practical vocational programme is designed for emerging artists intending to work professionally either in the UK or internationally. Designed and developed as a result of extensive discussions with the highest quality professional companies and individuals, this one-year postgraduate programme is structured around: two complementary pathways, one for actors and one for directors; two contrasting genre-based strands, of new writing and classical text; one unifying strand of professional practice.

All aspects of the programme are focused on enabling the student to develop their professional practice as an individual artist, and to establish a network of professional contacts to promote the further development of their career on or before graduation.

MA Musical Theatre
(Post Graduate Degree)

This programme trains advanced performers for a professional career in Musical Theatre. We take a small cohort of students through a curriculum that involves a full working week with up to 30 contact hours over 45 weeks. The programme focuses equally on acting, singing, and dance, and includes individual voice tutorials with some of the finest voice tutors in the UK. We believe that great Musical Theatre requires a blend of skills rooted in solid acting technique, and the emphasis of the programme is on training imaginative, versatile performers.

The programme culminates in a fully staged production at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and an Industry Showcase both in Glasgow and London.
