Now in its sixth year, the YTAS Symposium is a vital hub for consultation, discussion and networking. Annually attended by around 100 delegates, it is an opportunity for everyone who cares about youth theatre arts – including young people themselves – to come together to celebrate achievements, learn about opportunities and help shape the future of Scotland’s Youth Theatre provision.
The day will include a national update from Youth Theatre Arts Scotland CEO, Kenny McGlashan, as well as Creative Scotland’s Time to Shine Programme Manager, Colin Bradie. Both are sure to include many developments for the year ahead which staff, young people and youth groups can get involved in. There will also be a series of discussion groups throughout the day designed to evolve and inspire a united sector.
After the event all Symposium delegates will be invited to join us for the launch reception of the Chrysalis festival at the Traverse Theatre. To find out more, visit the YTAS website.
