CATS Shortlist 2017 Announced

The Critics Awards for Theatre in Scotland is an annual event, now in its 15th year, organised and awarded by the theatre critics of Scotland to celebrate the best Scottish theatre achievements in the year.

The judges shortlist nominees into 11 categories; Best Male Performance, Best Female Performance, Best Ensemble, Best Director, Best Design, Best Music and Sound, Best Technical Presentation, Best Show for Children and Young People, Best New Play, Best Production and CATS Whiskers.

After sponsoring Best Male Performance at last year’s awards, SDTN are pleased to be sponsoring Best Female Performance this year. The nominees are:

Lucy Briggs-Owen for her performance as Lydia Languish in The Rivals at the Citizens Theatre, Bristol Old Vic and Liverpool Everyman & Playhouse.
